I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday than to be given the grand foodie tour of Stacked Restaurants in Thousand Oaks. I met with Nanette, the VP of Operations to film the second episode of Dudeletseat on my YouTube channel (subscribe here: https://www.youtube.com/user/dudeletseat). Nanette pulled out all the stops and what you see below are just the pictures. To get the full experience watch our video. As of posting time the video will be launched in 3-4 weeks, around end of August!

I can’t remember which I liked more. The food that stands out is the adult Oreo shake with Kahlua! I’m a sucker for Oreo, and happen to love Kahlua, and this concoction is perfect: creamy, sweet and packing a punch.

The burger I loved the most was the Mac and Cheese burger because it is put together so well, with the creamy macncheese and parmesan breadcrumb patty. It was flavorful and it so good!

My producers for the day were Anthony and Benjie, and when it was time to take home the leftovers it was clear which dish was Anthony’s favorite, the cajun shrimp mac n’ cheese. I liked that plate too, along with the super unique pastrami pizza made with flavorful pastrami, home made garlic sauce and spicy brown mustard.

Stacked is best defined by their immense menu. You walk in and can choose from set dishes like the ones I mentioned, or you can make your own burger, pizza and salad. I made a burger with double patty, three types of cheese including their ghost pepper cheese (which is the second spiciest in the world) and lots of great sauces, like garlic mayo and ketchup. The restaurant boasts over 300 individual ingredients that you can order on an iPad! Score!

Finally, to start the mean we noshed on candied freakin’ bacon! Amazing. Nanette had the watermelon mojito and I had the key lime pie martini. It tasted just like dessert, and that watermelon mojito was super refreshing.

The space is fantastic too, which a bunch of big screen TVs, a bar that’s fully stocked and a super friendly staff!

Thanks for the amazing time Stacked. It was truly Food Well Built!
